Larry has been hard at work on his Chop Off bike for the Smokeout. It's been fun seeing this one come together! It's going to be way out there for sure!

Improvisation

I really wanted to ride over the long weekend. I'm rewiring my bike completely next Thursday so this will get me by until then!

Ross' Rig

My buddy Ross is one of the main reasons I made it to and from the Big Mountain Run. He made an awesome luggage rack for his bike and I think he carried everyone's gear at some point over the weekend!!! Here are some pictures I snapped while he and Spenser fabbed it up.

Kustom Jeff's BMR pictures

Kustom Jeff (What I See) took some awesome riding pictures last weekend on the Big Mountain Run. He's got an awesome camera and is awesome at snapping pictures while riding his bike. Here are two I stole from his blog. Bill's XS650 won best Asian @ the BMR chopper show. Look for it in an upcoming issue of Cycle Source!!!

Surviving...

I learned a lot of lessons this past weekend. This was my first real "trip" on my motorcycle. Next year I will make some changes for sure!!!

I should be preparing my Ironhead for the BMR. Instead, I'm scanning the web for Shovelhead inspiration. I saw this awesome bike on the EDR bike feature on Chop Cult. I'm digging it!

Back on the webs

Just got connected to the interwebs after the EF5 tornado on 4/27! I got really sick of sitting in coffee shops watching everyone "work" on their fancy schmancy iPads! Anyway, I'm really stoked on BMR next week. I have a few things to double check on my bike and then I need to do a few "packing" dry runs.

We are charging again!!! (for real this time)

Well, after yet another regulator swap the Ironhead is charging again! I'm going to keep an eye on it for the next couple of days. Big Mountain Run here I come!!!

BMR 2011 is fast approaching. This will be my first time at this event. Everybody raves about it. I've got to get my charging system sorted so I can make the run!!!
