Project XC9erVG: Getting Close

Ross and I have been working on a foot rest design utilizing the Biltwell, Inc. clevis.  We have dubbed this project: XC9erVG which means absolutely nothing.  This first pre-production prototype set will be going on my Sportster for testing but we will also offer a set to fit modern Triumph motorcycles.

The rests are machined out of 6061 aluminum and will have a few varieties of grip surfaces on the top.

The Biltwell clevis allows for unlimited mounting positions (helping to eliminate foot "hot spots") and we think they will look good on a wide variety of motorcycle styles.

Pricing will land around $100 shipped per pair.

Come visit our Swap Meet booth at the Barber Vintage Festival next week, October 11-13 and take a look at what we have in the works.

The Catalina Wine Mixer - Details

Here is the rundown on the "event".  Again, I use the word "event" loosely because this is not your typical HOG parking lot hot dog supper.
Here are some answers to a few questions that have popped up:
Camping is Saturday night only - (Remember that this is private land and be respectful i.e. don't burn it to the ground!) - NO PETS
BYOEverything - Firewood/Firepits/Port-o-let will be provided.  EVERYTHING else is on you.  There are plenty of restaurants in Winfield a few miles away.  Each group will be given some trash bags.  "Leave it like you found it".
Donated Raffle Items - We will raffle off the donated items at sunset.  You must have made a donation to receive a raffle ticket.  $5.00/bike and $10/car with all proceeds benefiting The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.
No bike show = no bullshit - We all are "like minded motorcycle enthusiasts".  If you are looking for a trophy then you are in the wrong place.  There will be a few surprises at the event but again, if you are looking for an "appearance fee" for bringing your sick bobber to a campout, then this is NOT the place for you.

To quote my buddy Walt, "Douchebaggery will not be tolerated".  Pretty simple.
