Inspired?

Greg from Lowbrow was sleeping next to his bike on Friday morning in San Felipe.  I took this picture on my morning walk around the campgrounds (mornings were an excellent time to get bike pictures).

He sent the photo to a friend of his and she thought it would make a good painting!  I can't wait to see the finished art.

Wednesday afternoon in Temecula.  We met our "Custom Canadian Cousins" and mingled with other "Like-Minded Motorcycle Enthusiasts"

JC (at right), of Baja Voyager, took great care of us during our stay in Ensenada.

 This couple from Great Britain stopped by to party.  They are traveling the world in the best RV ever assembled by man!

Best decision of the trip.  Renting a clapped out Desert Runner to cruise the streets of Ensenada!

I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things after El Diablo Run. Here is my latest project, a biker wallet with a simple Harley Bar/Shield logo.

I have it dyed and will hopefully get it laced up tomorrow.

                     

The Cocktagon!

I found footage of the infamous "Cocktagon" from EDR.  I had absolutely no intentions at all of participating in this event until 3 minutes before it was supposed to start.  Watch the video and you will see why!

EDR 2013 - "It all washes off in the shower"

I don't even know where to begin.  I think I'm going to spread out pictures/stories over this blog, my Facebook, the Americana Speed Shop Facebook page and Instagram.  The blog posts will be "Photodump" style.

Can't wait to do it again!

El Diablo Run 2013

Bill, Boss Ross and myself are heading West on Friday in preparation for the EL Diablo Run.  To say that I'm excited would be the understatement of the century!  I've enjoyed my past trips to Mexico but those have been on the Yucatan peninsula (EDR takes place in Baja.) and I can't think of a better venue to blast around on my motorcycle.

600 miles on the bike, fishing in the Sea of Cortez, and spending a few days on the "left coast" is just what the Dr. ordered!

I'm looking forward to sharing this adventure with two of my closest brothers.  The following are pictures from EDR's past posted on Chop Cult.  I look forward to capturing my own images on this epic trip!
