Solo Seat

Raph from Conte Kustoms asked me to cover a solo seat for his latest build.  He designed the mustached sugar skull, complete with flames for hair.

I worked hard on it, and it's by no means perfect, but neither am I!  Handmade items have character in my opinion.  Something vinyl and machines can't duplicate!

Latest Leather Work

Here are some projects I have been working on lately.  First up, the "Essentials Wallet" (carries a few cards/Drivers License + money clip).  I've made a few of these lately and they seem to be well received.  Great for carrying in your front pocket while motorcycling, or at an event where security is an issue.

The El Diablo Run is a month out and I've been working on several Passport Wallets.  Can't wait to see these at the beginning of the run in California!

These two are on deck to be laced up.  Email me - ridemore16@yahoo.com if you have a project in mind.  You can visit my webstore (link at top right of blog) or check out www.americanaspeedshop.bigcartel.com

Great Weekend!

We had such a great motocamping overnighter on Saturday.  We traveled to the southwest part of the state to camp at Paul Grist State Park.  It's a small park with a 100 acre lake and great scenery.  We were the only "primitive" campers there and picked a great spot overlooking the spillway for the lake.  It was nice to hear the rushing water while I slept.  It ALMOST drowned out all of the snoring!

We also welcomed our newest "Custom Cousin", Loaf, to the Inbreds RC.  Great guy and a great addition to our crew.  Welcome Loaf!

Here are a few pictures I took with my phone.  I'm already looking forward to the next two wheeled adventure!

The entrance to the State Park.  It was a great curvy ride down to the lake from this point.

The campsite was pretty open so we had to make provisions for shade.

Bill loves his biker games.  "What's the worst that can happen?"

Kustom Jeff putting in work with a hatchet.  We needed every piece of wood we piled up as it got pretty damp overnight.

Meat missiles over an open flame.  There's nothing better!

Great view from the parking spot!

Race Inspired Sportster

I've been starting to do some research for my next project, a performance inspired EVO Sportster.  I ran across the below thread on Chop Cult and immediately filed it under "inspiration"!
