Time is running out to vote for the ShowClass "People's Champ" contest. This is a great way to showcase some awesome talent outside of the "Invited Builders" bubble.

Project Progress
Ross finished up my top tree the other day. Waiting on some new neck cups/bearings to get here so we can get some final measurements. After that it's on to the bottom tree.
I also got an update on my gas tanks. Hope to have them back and everything on the bike next weekend!
Once I get the saddle bags back from paint I will be "done" for a while and ready to lay down some miles!!

It's go time!
Ross and I have started on a project for my shovel...can't wait to see it come together on the bike!
Ross has been killing it this winter. I'm looking forward to getting his bike out for proper pictures to show off all his hard work.
My paint is in progress (tanks and saddle bags), once they get back then I'm done...for a while at least!

Show Class "Peoples Champ" Born Free 5 Contest
Show Class Magazine is having an awesome contest that allows a "regular guy" to mix it up with the "Invited Builders" of Born Free 5. They had over 100 entries and pared it down to 25 or so. The first round of voting is now open...head over to www.showclassmag.com and take a gander at the contest builds.
This round will pare the group down even more and the final 5 will make it to California. Those bikes will be voted on the night before Born Free and the winner gets a spot in the big show!
My friend Shawn Long, from Imperial House, is one of the contestants and is building an awesome 1952 Panhead chopper (pictured below). He gets my vote! Hope he makes it all the way through!

Battery Cover
I thought it would be cool to make a leather battery cover vs. running the standard chrome set-up. I like the way it turned out!

Progress
Scored some awesome saddle bags from the World Famous Roadside Marty for my birthday. I've got to get them painted gloss black so they will match my tanks. Tanks are still away getting the royal treatment from Shawn at Imperial House. I can't wait to see what he comes up with.
Big Boss Ross and I started a little project on my front end. So after getting the bags painted, tanks back from paint, and finish the front end project it will be time to ride!!!
