Revenge Run Raffle

Tim from Death Science asked if I wanted to sponsor The Revenge Run 3 coming up in April. I told him I would be honored and that I would make up a wallet for their raffle. I'd love to attend, but can't make it to the event. I am definitely going to try and make it next year.

Product Test: Duluth Trading Co. Contractor Boots

I read a review in Street Chopper Magazine a few months back on these 6" Contractor Boots from Duluth Trading Co. I've been in the market for a nice pair of boots and have read all kinds of reviews on Red Wing. I was all but sold on going that route when I stumbled across the review in Street Chopper.

These are American Made (in Wisconsin) with Vibram soles and a Goodyear welt (they can be re-soled). They retail for $149.00 vs. the $260.00 Red Wings I had my eyes on (good selling point)!!! They also have a no questions asked return policy (another selling point)!!!

I figured I would post a detailed review in a few months so I can give an honest assessment.

Brodown is coming!

Can't wait!!! Next weekend the boys and I are heading to Cincinnati for the V-Twin Expo. The main attraction is the Biltwell Brodown on Saturday night. Thanks to Larry for putting this trip together for us!

Spring is Coming...

Today the high was in the low 70's...in JANUARY! I talked to Bill and both of us have a little touch of Spring Fever. Can't wait until Winter is officially over and we can get back to our routine "overnighters" in random forests around Alabama.

New Exhaust for the Ironhead!

Spenser and I have been talking about new exhaust pipes for quite a while. I ordered up some 1.75" stainless a few weeks back and today we got to it.

It was a really fun project and all that's left is the finish welding. Spenser will tackle that next Saturday then I'm going to polish them up!

Surgery Complete

I got the Ironhead done Friday afternoon. Big thanks to Big Boss Bob Ross @ Southpaw Machine for removing the broken bolt from my cam.
